Henners English Barrel Chardonnay is made only in years where the fruit has the ripeness and balance to carry the style, 2025 was one of the highest quality vintages on record - a long, exceptionally warm summer led to an early harvest with grapes picked at perfect ripeness, disease free, and with exceptional flavour maturity. Sourced from Old Mill Hill and Thorrington Mill in Essex, and Brecks Vineyard in Norfolk.

Tasting Notes
Citrus and orchard fruit sit alongside white flower and a touch of vanilla, with gentle oak adding a creamy texture and a bright, elegant mineral finish.
Winemaker Notes
Hand picked, whole bunch pressed and 100% fermented in a combination of old (90%) and new (10%) 300L French oak barrels, with 100% malolactic fermentation in barrel. Bi-weekly bâtonnage and six months on lees in barrel before bottling.
