The Henners Big  Christmas Wine Tasting

Our annual Christmas wine tasting is moving in with the neighbours! On Saturday 5 December, from 12pm to 5pm, the Henners Christmas Wine Tasting takes over the Ballroom at Herstmonceux Castle, a 15th-century moated castle just down the road from our vineyard, and about as festive as a venue gets.

Henners is an English sparkling wine producer based in Herstmonceux. Our all-women winemaking team crafts award-winning sparkling and still wines, and our Christmas tasting is our favourite day of the year to share them.

​

Pick up your tasting glass at the door and work your way through our English sparkling and still wines, along with a hand-picked selection from around the world, plus spirits and beers. From elegant fizz to something richer for the cheeseboard, it’s the perfect way to find your new favourite before the big day.

It’s a self-guided tasting, so go at your own pace and in whatever order takes your fancy. Our team will be on hand throughout to chat through what’s in your glass, recommend a bottle or share the story behind it.

Our bar is open all afternoon for a glass of your favourite, our good friends Specs & Bear are serving up food, and there’s live music to keep the festive spirit flowing. Entry also includes access to the castle grounds, so wrap up warm and take a wander between glasses.
