What days do your Tour and Tastings operate?
Currently these are Saturday and Sunday, at 11am or 12pm depending on the time of year. Private tours can be booked at flexible times. Email cellardoor@henners.com with your enquiry.

What does a Tour and tasting involve?
We’ll walk through the vines, chatting about our location, a bit of history, and what makes this place special. From there, we’ll head into the winery to see where the wines are made, followed by a guided tasting.
How many wines will I taste?
On our public Tour and Tastings, you will sample five Henners wines, starting with sparkling and moving through our still wines.
Do you have an age limited for Tours, tastings and Experiences?
Our ticketed experiences are for guests 18+ only. Please bring valid ID if you look under 25. Children are not permitted on tours or tastings or in the winery production area under any circumstances due to Health and Safety.
How long does a Tour and tasting Last?
A Tour and tasting lasts an hour and a half, please add an extra hour if pre-ordering food to follow.
What happens when the weather is wet and windy?
We undertake tours in most weathers and encourage suitable outdoor clothing and footwear. The itinerary of the experience may alter depending on extreme weather and other factors beyond our control.
How much is a Tour and Tasting?
Our online price for a Tour and Tasting starts from £29pp (2026), if you have a group or tour company enquiry contact us at cellardoor@henners.com for custom pricing.
I’m not drinking alcohol, is there a separate ticket price for me?
All guests attending any part of the Tour and Tasting must pay the full ticket price. If a guest is unable to or chooses to abstain from drinking alcohol, no discount will be provided. We have a range of soft drinks available.
Do you allow dogs on Tours?
We appreciate that some people may have come away with their pets for the weekend and as such allow well-behaved dogs on leads on the tour and in the tasting rooms.
Can I stay afterwards for food and Drink?
You can! Please see our section on drop-ins, Food & Drink. Alternatively book Cheese and Charcuterie to follow your tour when booking your ticket.

Can I drop in for food and Drinks without booking a Tour?
Yes, please do! Wines, beers and soft drinks may be purchased on the day, non-alcoholic wines are available by the bottle
What are your opening times?
Please check our opening times online, these are seasonal, but we operate all year round.
Should I reserve a table?
Email cellardoor@henners.com for table reservations to guarantee availability.
Currently our table reservations are for our outdoor terrace areas, please note these have limited shelter, Wine Tastings are hosted in-doors, unless otherwise pre-arranged.
Do you have a food menu?
We have a light, limited menu that offers cheese and charcuterie and small plates. We have several delicious pop-up food vendors throughout the year. Please check the events sections of our website for updates on these.
Do you cater for allergens?
We run a small kitchen and cannot guarantee there is no cross contamination. Our menu contains Nuts and other known allergens. External food vendors arranged on site are individually responsible for their own food and equipment health and safety standards.
Can I bring my own food?
Only food and beverages purchased at Henners may be consumed on-site. Celebration cakes for special occasions are welcome. Picnics are not permitted.
Can I bring my Children to the vineyard?
Children are permitted on site for drop in visitors and must be always supervised. They are not permitted on Tours, tastings and ticketed experiences.
Can I bring my dog to the vineyard?
Well behaved dogs are welcome but must be always kept on the lead, they must not enter the pond or run loose in the grounds.
Do you have any notes on accessibility?
As an agricultural site, the vineyard has uneven, muddy ground with no paved path. Our Cellar Door tasting room is accessed via a flight of stairs.
We have an accessible toilet on the ground floor in the Cellar door. Please note, we do not have a Changing Places WC.
Our doors are not automatic, do not have ramps or curb cuts

Do you do a self-guided Tour?
We have a self-guided tour signposted in the vineyard, which can be accessed during our opening hours; this may be closed on days due to production equipment in the vineyard. Please call 01323 832073 on the day if you would like to check beforehand.
Do you have an electrical car charging port?
We have an EV charger outside the entrance to reception.

I can’t make my tour date! Can I reschedule my tour and tasting?
Tours and Tastings booked online via henners.com can be self-rescheduled within 7 working days. We also cannot offer re-booking for no-shows or late arrivals.
Something’s come up and I need to cancel my Tour and tasting, can I get a refund?
Tours and tastings and experiences are non-refundable once booked, if booked online via henners.com they can be self-rescheduled within 7 working days of the date of the experience. Tickets cannot be exchanged for cash, goods or gift cards.
Can I transfer the cost of my ticket to an alternative experience?
If you would like to transfer to an alternative available experience within 6 months, you have the option to pay the difference in ticket price, no refunds will be issued if an experience is less than the original purchased ticket, a request for this must be made in writing within 7 days of the original booked date.
What happens if Henners cancels an experience?
If we have had to cancel a Tour and Tasting or experience for events outside of our control a full refund will be offered or alternative date.
How long does a refund take to process?
If a refund has been agreed and acknowledged by a member of staff via email. Our card provider may take up to 10 working days to process the transaction.

Vouchers and Discount Codes
How do I redeem a Tour and Tasting Voucher?
You can book a tour and redeem your voucher online by inserting the voucher code at check-out. Vineyard Tour and Wine Tasting
If you have an issue with your booking contact Cellardoor@henners.com quoting your voucher reference and we will assist you in making your booking.
How do I redeem a monetary Voucher?
These can be redeemed online against shop items or in the Cellar Door, please provide your unique code. Please note monetary vouchers will need to be fully redeemed at the time of use.
Can I use a monetary voucher for an experience?
Not currently, experience vouchers are issued separately.
How do I use a discount code?
You can apply your discount code at check-out. Please note that this must relate to the product it has been supplied for.
Can I add people to my booking when I redeem my Tour and Tasting Voucher?
Absolutely! You can book them online at the same time and pay the difference.

How do I make changes to a Virgin Experience days Booking?
How to claim: If you have a Virgin Experience days Voucher please contact
Cellardoor@henners.com quoting your voucher reference and 4-character alphanumeric pin and we will assist you in making your booking.
Change of Date: Your Virgin Experience Days Voucher must be claimed before it’s expiry date. Once you have booked and would like to alter the date within this time frame, please contact us at cellardoor@henners.com within 7 days of the booking.
Refunds: If the experience is purchased through a third-party (Virgin experiences) then Henners is unable to offer refunds or extend visitor expiry dates, which will be the responsibility of that third-party.

Private Tours and Space Hire
Can I book a private Tour and Tasting?

Absolutely! These are subject to a ten-person minimum or minimum spend. Please contact cellardoor@henners.com to discuss your groups booking. Please provide a contact name and phone number for our records.
Do you host weddings?
We have hosted a couple of weddings at Henners and are happy to take enquiries. 

Can I hire Henners for a special Occasion?
You Can! We have several private hire space options and packages available, please contact us cellardoor@henners.com with the details of your enquiry. Please provide a contact name, phone number, estimated number of guests, date of your event and preferred timings for our records.
When do your private bookings operate?
We are flexible! Let us know your preference Monday-Sunday and preferred timings.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
Private tour and hire bookings are required to pay a non-refundable deposit to secure the date.
Minimum spends apply and exclude external vendors.
What catering options do you do?
We have Cheese and Charcuterie boards (£12-£15pp), bread, hummus, olives and tomatoes (£8pp) that can be pre-ordered. We can also suggest private catering options for site hire with minimum numbers applicable. Please note that these will operate independently of Henners for communication, payments, etc.
When do I have to pay my final invoice?
14 days prior to your visit with final visitor numbers and food options.
Can I use the balance of my monetary gift card towards my private hire booking?
Monetary gift cards can only be used for online sales or within the Cellar Door at the time of purchase. They cannot be used towards deposits or experiences.

Buying Wine and Shipping
Where can I buy your wines?
Our wines are for sale in the Cellar Door on site and via several local independent shops, pubs, bars and restaurants. You can also buy our wines via our website.
Do you ship internationally?
Wines shipped from the Cellar Door are shipped within the UK, excluding Northern Ireland.
What are your shipping costs?
We charge £5 for orders under £100 placed online.
How long does shipping take?
We aim to ship your items within 1-5 days of you placing your order.
How long does shipping take?
These will usually arrive the following day once shipped and will need someone home to take receipt of them. Otherwise, the courier will try again the following day and then send to the nearest depot for collection.
How can I track my order?
You can track your order via APC - Choice using your unique consignment number, which will have been emailed over via APC when your delivery was booked in. Please check your SPAM folder.
Can I cancel my order?
Please contact us ASAP if your change your mind, your order will be fulfilled once shipping is booked. The customer will be responsible for the return cost of postage.
Can I open a trade account?

What is your closest train station/ links to London
The closest railway stations with good links to London include:

Polegate – 21 minutes, Battle – 20 minutes and Eastbourne -25 minutes
Polegate and Eastbourne have taxi’s available at the station; pre-booked taxi’s to and from the vineyard are recommended. Eastbourne has several hotel options and is the largest, nearest town.

Can I leave my motorhome/ vehicle overnight?
No vehicles are permitted over night
Can I stay overnight at Henners?
We do not currently run any camping facilities or have accommodation on site
What parking facilities do you have?
Parking spaces are available and may be signposted or directed by staff when production equipment is in use. Henners cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage caused to vehicles or property, howsoever caused, whilst on the premises.
Can you fit a coach / bus on site for parking?
If you have made a private booking and plan to arrive via a large vehicle, please contact us beforehand to discuss your parking needs.
