Born in lockdown, raised in a horsebox, fuelled by big ideas and even bigger portions. Specs & Bear are a Hailsham based duo serving bold, comfort led food with serious personality. What started as travel inspired home cooking turned into a fully fledged horsebox kitchen, built on community spirit and local ingredients wherever possible.

Their signature is gloriously grilled raclette, molten and unapologetic, but the menu never stands still. Think wagyu steak specials, indulgent mac and cheese, slow pulled beef and pork, hearty homemade chilli, crunchy nachos or American style tater tots. Expect house made toppings too, from jalapeño relish to Korean kimchi mayo, plus fresh salads and the occasional batch of famous brownies when the mood strikes.
