Podgers

Founded in Sussex in 2023, Podgers is the creation of chef Charlie, whose experience spans restaurants, private households and prestigious occasions, including cooking at the late Queen’s funeral. That breadth of expertise shows in the detail.

Podgers is built on a simple ethos: quality over quantity. As much as possible is made from scratch, using trusted local suppliers and drawing inspiration from travel, standout dining experiences and classical cookbooks. From homemade Mexican salsas paired with locally reared hog roast, to house cured fish for canapés and hand pressed burgers for street food service, the focus is always on flavour and finesse.

Service comes from a beautifully restored vintage French horse truck, adding charm and character wherever it parks up.
